Why is it hot?
This understated yet incredibly stylish hair and lifestyle salon is situated in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. As if that isnt enough to have you grabbing the telephone to book yourself in for a visit, the salon is also renowned for having an individual approach to styling hair so if you are feeling stuck in a rut with your style, this is definitely the place to go. Its gorgeous stylish interior décor will make you feel instantly relaxed, as will its extra friendly and talented staff. Plus its central location means you dont have far to walk if youre spending the rest of the day at the shops… Perfect!
I went in just for a cut and blow dry, sounds simple but with a bulk of thick hair prone to frizzing Ive often left a salon resembling Diana Ross. Happily I had nothing to worry about during my visit here. The stylist put me at ease straightaway, gave me plenty of guidance on how my hair needed to be cut and styled before she got to work. I left with one of the best cuts I have ever had. My hair was re-styled and, thanks to the Aveda intensive conditioning treatment she recommended, all of my dryness had disappeared. It boosted my confidence for the evening and I even got a compliment from my boyfriend, who would normally fail to notice if I went from blonde to black.
Best part?
Several to choose from. The soothing head, neck and shoulder massage lasted forever and felt so good I almost fell asleep! The hand massage while your hair is being done was also lovely and the touch of make-up on offer to complete the look was much appreciated.
Recommended stylist/technician/therapist?
Gillian, she cut and dried my hair with highly skilled expertise. She was also fabulous at analysing my hair type and suggesting products to use, all without the annoying hard sell.
Treatment price
Prices are very affordable here, with a Cut and Finnish costing you around £31; it will not break the bank for an important date.
